The Great Zimbabwe University is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to enroll in the following Postgraduate
and Undergraduate Degree Programmes to start in July 2021/2022.
NOTES:
(a) The First (1st) Block Release Session for Masvingo classes will run from 08 to 21 July 2021/2022 and the Second (2nd) Block
Session will run from ~~05 to 18 August 2021/2022.~~
(b) Registration for Masvingo classes will take place on ~~08 July 2021/2022.~~
(c) Applicants for Block Release Programmes must attach Confirmation of Employment letters that include their duties and duration of employment on current job.
(d) Applicants must clearly indicate on the Application Form that they are applying for the Masvingo Cohort.
(e) The closing date for submission of completed application forms is ~~Friday, 28 June 2021/2022.~~

a) Five (5) ‘O’ level passes or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics at

b) 2 ‘A’ level passes including at least one commercial subject or Mathematics.
c) For Office Management, a Diploma in Secretarial Studies will also be considered for
entry into the programme.
Special Entry
a) Five (5) ‘O’ level passes or equivalent including English Language and Mathematics at
grade C or better.
b) Holders of a Diploma Higher national Diploma in the relevant area may qualify under
special entry
Mature Entry
a) Applicants should have at least 5 ‘O’ level passes or equivalent, including English
language, and be at least 25 years of age. In addition, a candidate may be required
to undertake an entry examination administered by the School as part of the process
of satisfying entry requirements for admission to the programme.
b) At least 3 years relevant working experience.

b) Any other equivalent degree as approved by the University
Special Entry
a) Holders of Professional Level I Programme of the Institute of Chartered
Secretaries and Administrators and holders of CIS Graduateship qualification.
b) Holders of Higher National Diploma of Southern African Association of
Accountants (SAAA).
c) Holders of Higher Diploma of Institute of Administration and Commerce (IAC)
majoring in any one of the following Accounting areas:
 Financial Accounting Management
 Cost and Management Accounting
 Corporate Management
Holders of ACCA qualification who have completed Foundation stage courses from F1
to F9 of Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)

Complete an official application form, which can be obtained from the Admissions Office, Great Zimbabwe University upon
payment of a non-refundable application fee of $20. 00 for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. No application is
valid unless the appropriate application fee has been paid. Application forms can be downloaded from the University website:
www.gzu.ac.zw. The downloaded application forms must be accompanied by a valid receipt or bank deposit slip marked
(Application Fee). Application fees can be deposited into any of the following University Accounts:
